ETTGAS Underground Tanks

There are many reasons for choosing underground tanks. However, the most important reasons are usage area and safety.

ETTGAS underground tanks are a trusted product with their standard-compliant body material and elite welding workmanship. Painting is done after x-ray, penetrant, magnetic particle and hydrostatic tests during and after production. The production of tanks resistant to impact and abrasion is completed with surface SA1/2 sandblasting quality and epoxy paint.

Quality control. Our team tests the paint for full resistance to corrosion by applying a voltage test at high voltage.

Underground LPG tanks are under very different conditions compared to aboveground tanks. Therefore, they must have some protective and preventive measures.

There is a natural electric current in the soil. This current is metal. It has a corrosive effect on objects. This effect is called electrolysis and can cause small punctures in the metal. Therefore underground tanks may be subject to electrolysis. While the tank is placed, a conductor is connected to the tank with anode bags.

Tank painting and burying the tank underground are other issues that need to be taken into consideration. ETTGAS underground tanks are coated with quality dielectric polyurethane paint. Additionally, corrosive elements on the tank surface should be avoided when burying the tank.
